Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on social relations and labor law to ensure compliance with Belgian regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with legal standards.
- Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, fostering a positive workplace environment.
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on changes in labor laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR and management teams to address complex HR challenges.
- Prepare and deliver training sessions on HR legal matters to staff and management.
- Support the HR department in various projects and initiatives as needed.
Criteria
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) as an HR consultant or in a similar role, with a strong focus on social relations and legal advisory.
- In-depth knowledge of Belgian labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in French and Dutch, with fluency English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
